Thinking of you all and have such lovely memories of Martin in his time at Limerick and with his family in drogheda. Regards Laura (Hayes) McNicholas xxx

Martin and Paula, opened their home to us and welcomed us to their family. This was invaluable to us because it made Manchester feel more like home. A vibrant and clever man, who took good care of anyone who had the good fortune to be around him. I will always remember him teasing us and teaching us things about religion, football, the UK and Europe.
It is an honour to have met Martin and his family. I am sad I couldn't be there for them in this time
and that I did not get the chance to properly say goodbye. Still, the last time I saw Martin, he was playing
with little Marcus and that is how I will remember him.

I was privileged to work closely with Martin at Counthill School from 1993 through to my departure in the year 2000. Martin brought financial and managerial expertise to his senior role in the school, but also his personal qualities: a true gentleman whose integrity, engaging personality and insightfulness drawn from his life’s experience, enriched by that beautiful accent, made working together a true pleasure. Cherished memories of a valued colleague. Mike Simm.
